First of all, congratulations on being selected as District 14's representative to the ACBL National Board!! Know you will do a super job as our rep.

Regarding the Ruby status: took lots of great partners to reach this. I was fortunate to be an Air Force wife and was able to travel and meet lots of great people. When I first took up bridge it was in California. I was a stay-at-home mom with five children under the age of 5. My friend urged me to try bridge one night a week to get me out of the house. Ha! From then on, at every different assignment my husband's job took us to, I was able to meet and make friends easily by playing bridge. Some of our assignments were to California (twice) Texas, Alabama, Athens, Greece and finally to Offutt AFB here in Nebraska.

Wouldn't change any of these experiences and am truly grateful I was able to learn, not only about bridge, but about other areas of our country and the world.
